On April 20, 1999, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris physically injured 24 students, murdered twelve students, one teacher, and they both committed suicide. The two seniors came to school late and arrived with black trench coats, guns and bombs. Many people wonder what drove these two troubled students to kill this many people. Harris and Klebold wrote many journals planning their attack and also included their personal thoughts and feelings toward other people. These two had much anger towards the “jocks” in their school because they always picked on everyone. FBI investigators believe the opposite. By reading their journals, investigators and psychologists think that some of their anger likely could have been because they were bullied, but some of it was just because they didn’t like the people. One student said that she had to beg them for ten minutes not to kill her.
